I would like to formally welcome you to our site. I am very proud of the services and protection that we provide to the citizens, workers, and visitors to our city. The staff is dedicated to providing the best Fire Protection and Emergency Medical Services to those we serve. Over the years we have increased our Equipment, Manpower, and quality of service. Most importantly we have been able to decrease the rising cost of fire insurance to those we serve. Our department provides a Class 2 fire insurance rating within the city limits of Winchester. This was a long process that has been well worth the efforts.
We hope this website will give you important information on our daily operations and ways you can keep your family safe in an emergency. We offer training to the public on fire safety and planning for emergencies. Our Prevention programs in the schools target our most important audience, the child.
The departments training programs are open to other Fire and Emergency Medical Agencies in the area to help them get the information and skills they must have in our profession.
